College 1

I went to K-State from the Fall of '94 through the fall of '98. I graduated with a BS in Industrail Engineering. I worked hard for that degree, but I also played hard. This post is dedicated to the PARTIES!!

Here we go:

By late fall 1995 I had made a best friend. Josh was from a small town in Kansas, and liked hip hop. He was kind of a tough guy. Here we are being buds at a Plaid theme Party. Hey every party can't be a winner.

The next month we had a formal. Josh brought his girlfriend, and I brought one of my good friends from highschool, Nicole. We all had fun. Nicole took an entire day to recover. What a blast.

This is a group picture of all of the guys at the fromal. I am on the left. I could tell you hours of stories about each of these guys, but I won't

Fall '96 we had our annual Sex Wax, and Six Packs Party. Sex Wax is the stuff you put on surf boards so you can stick to the top of the board, and it is also very handy for getting the word "Sex" into a party name. This party started 3-4 years before I came, and got bigger every year. This picture shows may friends. From left to right (Nicole, Mark, "Girl Dave Was Dating", Dave, Steph, me, and Craig.

Here you see Nicole from the formal with our friend Dave from High School.

College 2

From the same party as above, Sex Wax. Here my buddy Larry is picking me up. Yes he is half my size. I destroyed a pair of jeans to make me look ship wrecked for a beach party, get it? Me neither.

The next couple are a formal in spring '97. This is a picture of me, Craig who was later my best man, I was a groomsman at his wedding and we stay very close to this day, Marty, and Jake.

This is a pic of all of the guys at the formal. I am making some kind of face. Again I could talk for days about this picture, but I won't

Here we are doing a Catalog style picture. Pete is doing the thinker, I am casually checking the time, and Aaron is doing the come hither, chinny chin chin pose. Man we were hot.....

These next two are from fall '98 this was my last one while in the house. This is a pic of all the guys.
Being one of the oldest guys in the house at this point, I really knew each of the guys, and I am proud to call them all my brothers.

Here is a shot of My Wife, me, my roomate, and his girlfriend (wife now I think).

What a great time college was. I guess I should end with this one????

AEM Cold Air Intake

Hear you can see the Stock Air Intake for my 1997 Accord. The black box next to the battery contains the filter, and there is a resonator box in the wheel well, which is fed by the "snorkel" that sticks up between the filter box and the head light.

Here you can see the installed Cold air intake. The smooth tube goes straight into the wheel well, and attaches to the Filter

This is a picture of the kit. The filter on the right is positioned through the wheel well onto the end of the tube. The round thing in the foreground if a bypass valve. It is a release valve so that if you submerge your filter in water, you won't suck water into your engine. I left it off when installing. When I installed the intake I noticed that the end of the intake was about 14 inches off of the ground. I made a decision that I should never be in water that deep anyway, and accepted the risk, and left it out. It is your call, but I can't think of a time when I would be most of the wheel deep in water. If I am I will turn off the engine, and pray.

This intake is LOUD. The intake really adds a lot of sound. I like it. It is only when you really hit the gas.

I added an APEX RC Sport exhaust, and it is smooth and throaty.

I added power pulleys too. Here is a picture. I replaced the Power Steering Pulley, and the alternator pulley with these over sized pulleys, which rotate the shafts slower taking less power from the engine. Here you can see the stock power steering pulley laying on top of the newly installed Power pulley. Below that you can kind of see the new alternator pulley. A friend put it best. Power pulleys make the car run like the A/C is off, when the AC is on. Then when you turn off the AC, that is the kind of power gain you get. Noticeable, but not earth changing. Definitely worth the money.

With all of these improvements my car is more fun to drive. I added maybe 15 HP, but the throttle response is much better. The throttle used to lag a lot, now I can "chain saw it" in neutral.
